In the beginning of their relationship, when Jade lived in blissful ignorance of Kevin’s condition [inoperable cancer], talking to him had become an integral part of her everyday routine, and she planned her mornings and evenings around it. She’d set her alarm so she could wake up earlier than necessary and talk to him as they ate together – her, breakfast and him, supper.
Если да, то не понятно, почему не they ate together - she, (her) breakfast and he, (his) supper.

Q: Is everything alright with the pronouns in the sentence, "She’d set her alarm so she could wake up earlier than necessary and talk to him as they ate together – her, breakfast and him, supper."? Is the sentence grammatically correct?
A: The sentence is grammatically correct, but there is an issue with the pronouns used. The phrase "her, breakfast and him, supper" could be interpreted as suggesting that the woman is eating breakfast and the man is eating supper, which may not be the intended meaning.
To avoid confusion, it would be better to rephrase the sentence. For example: "She set her alarm so she could wake up earlier than necessary and enjoy breakfast with him as they talked – she ate breakfast while he had his supper."
