There is a notion that circulates in scholarly circles that elementary pupils should start learning a second language during their first years of learning, rather than in middle school. Opinions split on this point, some specialists subscribe to the "early" approch while others believe that children should have a grace period before embarking on the English course.

As for the advantages, starting with merits of early linguistic education, children can memorize from 1000 to 2000 words and drill a lot of cliches that will help them in the future. Kids' memory is highly receptive at an early age. Furthermore, having this means their overall grade in the subject may be higher after finishing school than of those who postpone. A clear disadvantage of this approch is higher work load that can affect their overall score in school due to complexity of the subject and active skill learning that requires much concentration and brain power.

Observing middle school foreign language strategy, its clear merit is students' better understanding of the subject. Secondary school pupils are less dependable on drilling and they are starting to evolve abstract thinking that corroborates mightily in learning grammar rules and word composition. Moreover, their ability to make new meaningful sentences using various lexical combinations of words and collocations speeds up learning process hugely. However, it is feared by the antagonists of this approach that after completion of the course students will likely have smaller vocabulary.

All in all, the strategy of early language learning and the approach when these classes are moved to secondary school are a highly debatable subject. However, I assume that proponents of postponed education have a stronger position in the debate. The only downside of their method is not obvious due to its unclear nature. The difference in scores at the end of school for both groups of children is scientifically unproven, as far as I know. While the "early" approach has a marked disadvantage of teaching a rather complex material to small children. Thus, I am a proponent of the postponed language education and see it as the most reasonable choice in this matter.

Забыл шапку как всегда

Some experts believe that it is better for children to begin learning a foreign language at primary schools rather than secondary school.

Задание: Do the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages?

Many countries aim to improve their living standard by economic development, but some important social values are lost as a result.

Do you think advantages of economic development outweigh the disadvantages?

Although, every country in the world strives to enlarge their GDP for prosperity, in their rush for gold some vital humanitarian values are left behind. In a peculiar way economic growth can ensure longer life expectancy in some nations and cause population loss in other. This essay will argue the pros and cons of having much money on country's account.

One country that benefited from economic boost is China. Over the last 50 years, more and more Chineese are relying on scientific medicine, rather than on traditional medical practises. As a result, death rate from such simply cured deseases like pneumonia and syphilis has decreased dramatically. Average life expectancy and quality of life have risen, and more Chinese are embracing scientific approach and turning away from traditional medicine.

On the other hand, some prosperous nations as Germany are currently suffering from their economic growth, which causes ageing of indigenous population. More than half of individuals, including women, prefer career over children, having them late or refusing the idea of reproduction at all. Unfortunately, this tendency has long-term consequences that entail seeking foreign labour force instead of the unborn. Therefore, local populations shrinks and is replaced.

In conclusion, with every country's obvious desire of wellfare, which inreases life expectancy on one hand, and causes degradation of social values on the other, prosperous nations have more potential to solve their social value crises, than their poorer counterparts. Hence, economic development brings more opportunities than drawbacks.

Вроде все написано так, но не уверен, что вообще раскрыл тему. Вывод про more potential of rich nations вообще ungrounded. Короче, I'm baffled. Помогите!
