Very repetitive exercises to 'drill' some lexis/grammar into your student's brain. A lot of grammar exercises are drills. Today the trend is to 'gamefy' such boring drills, that is, for a example, to make a board game or a class survey out of them, so students are genuinely interested in repeating something similar again and again.
