She , as I have mentioned before, is a very promising young athlete from the usa. Earlier this season she was literally unstoppable crushing her competition in every single race (in the USA only, she was not competing against very talented ladies from Jamaica) but then was caught smoking weed.
It's relatively ok, but she definitely needs to come visit us here at efl-forum.ru and we'll teach her a thing or two about English. Oh, and running too!
And can nobody ever tell you no. Don't need no filters on pictures before you post 'em on a Gram Shut
You're my secret crush. My secret crush. Shawty, you're my secret crush. My secret crush. And can nobody ever take it back. Cause you're my secret...
Okay I'ma keep it 100 with you your natural beauty you don't have to try so hard just being the pure beauty you are and can nobody ever get in your way.
Yeah, they do. They are not running a 10K race or a half-marathon (21K), it takes roughly 10,6-11 seconds for top-level female sprinters to cover 100 meters. On top of that, they are female athletes and they are mindful of the fact that millions of people across the globe are watching them. Better be beautiful than sorry:).Juliemiracle пишет: ↑18 сен 2021, 19:16 so I was also amazed at the way she looked: that heavy makeup with glitter and artificial (I suppose) eyelashes, bleached and loose hair, silver jewellery.Do they really sprint looking like that?
She got hit by her own hype train. She was trying to pass herself off as a sprinting sensation and even told on several occasions that she was going to destroy her competition. Really? She has zero world championship/olympic medals while jamaican superstars have dozens of them. They have been delivering for years and that girl has been competing at world class level for just 1-1,5 year (s). She needed to be humbled a little. And the jamaican girls did just that - put her in her place.Juliemiracle пишет: ↑18 сен 2021, 19:16 seemed way nicer towards oneself than how some ppl react to defeat
Yes, but I’m not so sure that he can handle our feisty Shakira that easily. Neither of them will come unscathed from this arrangement. The teacher will need to wear sunglasses for a few months and Shakira will start questioning her nativeness .
I don't know, you are a girl, not me, you know better. When I see a dressed up woman I make her a compliment, it works wonders and costs me nothing.
Very reasonable strategy, indeed :)
All women are different. I'm a bit too grown-up for such make-up anyway, but even when I was younger, I can hardly imagine wearing sth like that. Well, maybe at the nightclub, but still, too much of everything.
I think I'd still go for a more natural look. Not the earth mother, of course, but to look pretty one doesn't have to use 'the more the better approach'. Actually, the less make-up you spot (which doesn't mean there's little of it), the better, imo.
Nah, I'm pretty sure she says "can't". Double negatives are very common in Jamaican English.
I was browsing through the comments and found this:
Yes, I wouldn't hesitate to explain it away just like that myself, except:Easy-Breezy English пишет: ↑19 сен 2021, 00:01 Double negatives are very common in Jamaican English.
There will never be no love at all.

Okay, negative concord is just as common in both Black English and Southern English, as I'm sure you know. I wouldn't dwell on this too much, and it really doesn't sound all that odd.
??? come in before, having a month off, dealin' with all i was dealin' with, i'm not upset at myself at all, this is one race, i'm not done, you know what i'm capble of? count me out if you want to, talk all the shit you want, cause i'm here to stay, i'm not done, i’m the sixth fastest woman in this game ever and can't nobody ever take that from me, congratulations to the winners, congratulations to the people that won, but they're not done seeing me yet, period
Yeah, but we call it bad grammar.Easy-Breezy English пишет: ↑19 сен 2021, 00:01 Double negatives are very common in Jamaican English.
