I think it isn't so important as few people have written in the previous topics.
It has started to seem to me that 100 days of challenge without breaks is becoming a little bit too much. Maybe we need some breaks after let's say 20 days. Or do you think it will prevent people from writing at all? I think it is possible and it is better to write while it is writing.
By the way I don't remember see you write in this challenge. Why?
Do you remember the most expensive thing you have ever bought? Did it worth it?
I don’t remember a very expensive thing that I’ve bought. I sometimes bought not very good things in quality. It was, for instance, a pair of pretty shoes which broke immediately after the rain on their first day. Or the green silk blouse that changed into dirty yellow after washing. If I tried to remember all my bad purchases, I would tell a lot of similar examples, when the thing is a kind of disappointment. But I prefer not to think about it anymore.
I remember. When I was young I bought boots. They cost two million kupons. It wasn’t very expensive, but it was the most expensive thing that I’ve ever bought. 2,000,000! But seriously, I buy food and clothes for myself and my family. Because I know: nobody does this, only me. I hate shopping.

I don’t remember ever buying a very expensive thing (that I’ve bought -
I sometimes bought not very good things in quality. I sometimes happened to buy/would occasionally buy things of low/poor quality.
It was, for instance, a pair of pretty shoes which/that broke/fell apart immediately after the rain on their first day.
Or the (- прикольно звучит: или та самая блузка, как будто всем известное событие - нежиданный эффект)/a green silk blouse that changed into dirty yellow after washing.
If I tried to remember all my bad purchases, I would/couldtellgive a lot of similar examples, when the thing is/was a kind of disappointment. But I prefer not to think about it anymore.

Why do you think we would take you wrong? ))}, I buy food and clothes/I do shopping for myself and my family. Because I know (that) nobody does this, only mewould do it but me. , though I hate shopping.

By the way I don't remember see you write in this challenge. Why?
My writing is so poor and takes so much time because of lack of vocabulary and ideas that I decided to increase my vocabulary first. Surely my laziness is another reason.

Yety,

I prefer to write about not the most expensive but some poor-quality things which I had like Primula did above.
I would like to tell you how it happened that there were many bad things in my house, mainly in my closet. Every time when I went shopping, I arrived with big packs. Funny thing is I even didn’t try some jumpers or shoes on. I had spent countless hours to find entirely different gown but after getting back home, I found similar clothes in my closet again and again.
Looking back, I realize that lots of things I bought weren’t good enough. My obsession with shopping was just a try to escape from a real life. But should I judge myself? I was a teenager only who was feeling herself alone and desperate. When I got my first job, I stopped wasting money on things I wasn’t interested in because I finally gave meaning to my life.

Materiya, I'd prefer not to write about the most expensive but some poor quality things I bought/got, like Primula did above.
Just like Primula did above, I'd prefer to write about some poor quality things I bought/got myself rather than about my most expensive purchases.
I would like to tell you how it happened (came about) that/how come there are so many bad things in my house, mainly in my closet.
When I was younger, every time when I went shopping, I arrived/would arrive home with big/huge packs/shopping bags.
Funny thing is, I didn’t even try on some of the jumpers or shoes I picked.
I had spent/would spend countless hours to find a gown entirely different from the ones I already had, but after getting back home, I found/would find similar clothes in my closet again and again.
Looking back, I realize that lots of things I bought weren’t good enough/pretty lame.
My obsession with shopping was just a tryan attempt to escape from a real life/an escape from reality.
But should I judge myself?/don't be too hard on me.
I was just a teenager then (who was) feeling herself alone and desperate. But when I got my first job, I stopped wasting money on things I wasn’t interested in/I didn't really need because I finally gave? found? meaning to my life(?).
I can't give meaning to my life.
I can't give meaning to my life
В ином (моем) представлении должно было быть как-то так: it can't give/gives meaning to my life - это дар обретения, источник которого вне тебя.
Remember the most valuable thing you have ever bought. Did it cost its money?
Iskra wrote that the most valuable buying cost 2 000 000 coupons, I bought some concrete slabs in 1996 for the total amount over 200 000 000 coupons. Whether it was useful, it is difficult to say. Anyway I spent this money and helped the workers who produced those slabs to receive their wages which they hadn’t received for a certain period of time. I paid the money and then when I returned to the accountant department to ask them about something when they saw me they said “If you want your money back, we cannot repay because we have already paid our workers by this money”. So it was a useful buy as you can see. Anyway the money were being devaluated so fast that they would disappear anyway.

I can't give meaning to my life. vs smth. gives meaning to my life
With her first hello
She gave new meaning to this empty world of mine

Andy Williams "(Where Do I Begin) Love Story" (from the movie "Love Story" starring Ryan O'Neal and All McGraw)
Where do I begin
To tell the story of how great a love can be
The sweet love story that is older than the sea
The simple truth about the love she brings to me
Where do I start
With her first hello
She gave new meaning to this empty world of mine
There'd never be another love, another time
She came into my life and made the living fine
She fills my heart
She fills my heart with very special things
With angels' songs , with wild imaginings
She fills my soul with so much love
That anywhere I go I'm never lonely
With her around, who could be lonely
I reach for her hand-it's always there
How long does it last
Can love be measured by the hours in a day
I have no answers now but this much I can say
I know I'll need her till the stars all burn away
And she'll be there
How long does it last
Can love be measured by the hours in a day
I have no answers now but this much I can say
I know I'll need her till the stars all burn away
And she'll be there
Was the most expensive thing I ever bought buying?
I finished university in 2011. I've been working for the same company for 6.5 years by now. Some colleagues of mine have bought cars, flats or started to build their own houses. Not me. Although I haven't saved much money, the most expensive thing I ever bought is a bicycle. It cost about $650. If I hadn't bought the it, I can't imagine what I would have written about now. Was it worth buying? I'm sure that I'm happy about it. The only thing I've ever regretted about is that I don't ride it daily..

I finished /(graduated from) university in 2011.
I've been working for the same company for 6.5 years (by) now.
Some colleagues of mine/Some of my colleagues have bought cars, flats or started to build their own houses.
Not me. Although I haven't saved much money, the most expensive thing I ever bought is/was a bicycle. It cost about $650.
If I hadn't bought the it, I can't imagine what I would have written about now.
Was it worth buying? I'm sure that I'm happy about it. The only thing I've ever regretted about is that I don't ride it daily.
Recall the most expensive thing you have ever bought. Was it worth it?
As I do not consider an apartment to be a thing, so the most expensive thing I have ever bought was and is my car. And it was totally worth it. It saved me a lot of time and money. I drove it all over the central part of Russia. I took a trip on it to the Black Sea. I used it to move house. I used to commute by the car for a year when I was working in the outskirts of the city I lived in. I moved jumbo things from one places to the others. The car has been serving me pretty good for over 3 years now. For me it is just a tool I use pretty much every day. It is one of the things which make my life easier and I really appreciate it.
