I can recommend you to watch a couple of recent movies. Firstable, it was "Nocturnal Animals" which came in 2016. Of course, I might warn you that the movie is not for everyone. There are a lot of bad cruel guys and violence. Still, I think "Nocturnal Animals" makes you think of our present days a little bit. The movie tells a story about a life of a nice and good-looking woman. It seems she has everything all people dream about. One day she gets a package from her ex-husband. There is a book in it. She doesn't know when she opens the book her life will be changed just in an instant.
Of course, as I said, the movie is not for everybody. But if you fancy psychological thrillers you may like the movie that I have found quite interesting too. There are two main lines which will tie in the end only, so you should watch carefully to not miss any details because you never know which one would be the most important.
Also, I rewatched "Game" with Michael Douglas. It was very interesting to me watching how the main character has been changing during the whole movie.

an interesting word
Firstable hear it :) Stupid Liza, all in all what you have written sounds good in terms of grammar. Why don't you try in writing for FCE or CAE together with mikka?
This word my American penpal uses quite often in spoken English. He sends shorts videos when he doesn't have enough time to put his thoughts into words. As I understand, it's an informal word.

Of course?, I might?/have to warn you that the movie is not for everyone.
There is a lot of violence and bad cruel guys.
Still, I think "Nocturnal Animals" makes you think of/about our present days a little bit. The movie tells a the story about a life of a nice and good-looking woman. It seems she has / She seems to have everything all people dream about/your heart could desire.
But if you fancy psychological thrillers you may like the movie that I have found quite interesting too. There are two main lines which will only be tied in/towards the end, so you should watch carefully not to miss any details because you never know which one would be the most important.
Also, I rewatched "Game" with Michael Douglas. It was very interesting tofor me watching how the main character('s personality) has beenwas changing during the whole movie/in the course of the story / as the plot unfolded (developed).

in the course of the story / as the plot unfolded (developed), will only be tied in/towards the end - это для меня пока что кажется нереальным) Так построить предложение.
Could you recommend a good film that you have watched recently?
I would recommend you to watch the film Carnage (2011) directed by R.Polansky if you liked films where a plot includes a lot of dialogs and if you liked J.Foster, K.Winslet und K.Waltz as well. It is a realistic and dramatic film about problems in people’s relationships. The main action takes place in a usual apartment. It is a simple situation: two couples meet to discuss the fight between their sons. Their conversation starts friendly and politely but it doesn’t continue for a long time in such way. At first, the couples only argue with each other, but then the wives and the husbands start to argue. The idea of this film is that the conflict between the parents is much more than the initial fight between their children.

"Of course, I might warn you that the movie is not for everyone." Well, I should probably warn you ...

People have been using the word ‘firstable’ in place of the phrase ‘first of all’ for a little while. And now it’s officially a thing apparently. Whether it’s a malapropism, where people have actually misheard the phrase ‘first of all’ and are just going with a similar sounding word, or whether time constraints in the modern world are such that we just ain’t got time to write an entire phrase anymore, we don’t know.
The first point in your argument. Very commonly spelled as "first of all", but that is incredibly incorrect. Origin: Danielle Fisher (2017) "Firstable, Danielle eats hermit crabs. Secondly.."
Stupid Liza
Ну, First of all можно и при формальном.)
recommend (that): I recommend that you buy a more powerful computer. strongly recommend: We strongly recommend you insure your luggage when you travel. recommend doing something: We recommend making reservations early, because this is a popular event. recommend someone to do something: Students are recommended to read the following books.
(1) I, personally, happily use "recommend somebody to do something", with the sense of "advise somebody to do something".
(2) Many other people find this usage strange.
There is an entry about recommend somebody to do something in my A Concise English-Chinese Dictionary (1977 Edition).
I would say to you that it is not technically correct, but also that many people say it.
As a non-native speaker, I suggest you avoid using the construction just to be safe. There are other constructions that you have learned that everyone finds acceptable.
Personally, if I had heard the television commentator say this, I would have cringed.

recommend someone to do something: Students are recommended to read the following books.
Когда разбиралась с этой темой, точно уяснила, что мы не можем говорить recommend you to do.

- Does this mean that the "recommend sb to do sth" construction is widely used in today's English?
- No. According to Google's Ngrams the evolution of these constructions is in the opposite direction.
Until about the 1970s recommend sb to do sth was used much more often than recommend that sb do sth. Since then it's the reverse and continues to trend in this way. Personally, recommend sb to do sth sounds totally wrong to my ear.
You can also recommend someone to do something. Although they have eight children, they do not recommend other couples to have families of this size. Some people consider this use to be incorrect, and say that you should say 'Although they have eight children, they do not recommend that other couples should have families of this size'.

Open Water, 2003.
This is one of the best horror movies and definitely the best thriller that I have ever seen.
Open Water is not a typical Hollywood film. It was shot on a digital camera without any special effects. All the sharks are real and quite often the actors were surraunded by real wild sharks. That makes Open Water believable and realistic.
The plot is rather simple and based on true events that happened in Australia in 1998.
A young couple, Den and Susan, are going on vocation to the Caribbean. One day they decide to go scuba diving, where due to a human error by the tour guide, they are accidentally left behind in shark infested water.
Trying to survive in the middle of the ocean, the couple run through the full range of emotionals - from shock and anger to fear and desperation.
It is suspenseful film and excellent at that. The tention rise slowly and naturally as it would be in reality.
I was very impsessed by the ending. The ending is superb. Highly emotional and believable.
It is not only a true horror movie but and a thought provoking film. It makes you ask yourself - What would you do? How would you react? Would you be as brave as Susane?
After watching I couldn't stop thinking how someody's negligence can have such consequences in other people's life, and how fragile life.
I like films, like Open Water, that give you positive amotions and can inspire to change something in your life.))))
Could you recommend a good movie watched recently?
I'd like to recommend you movie 'A Street Cat Named Bob'. It based on a real story about poor drug-addicted street musician (busker) James whose life changed drastically after he has met a ginger cat. Together they not only managed to survive, but also became worldwide phenomenon. There were sold more than 1 million books about cat Bob and his owner. Actually, it's a very kind movie about loneliness, doom and hope. It can make you believe that there is always possibility of life-changing meeting and I hope, you, like me, will believe in humanism of society.
