I have my watch repaired
This sounds like a Seinfeld/Curbed plot.
George pines after a ridiculously expensive watch, he begs his fiance for one. After she gives him one as an early wedding present, he immediately loathes the watch. As he can't sell it or return the watch, George devises a plan to get rid of it by leaving it on the roof of his car and ensuring it falls down a storm drain. The watch just misses the drain, and despite being run over, remains intact - his fiance has the watch repaired, and George must keep on wearing it.
If you can find the crystal, hands, or other parts that may have fallen off, you'll save yourself significant expense when you have the watch repaired. But don't wait. Get the watch to a skilled watchmaker right away if you want to save it.
