Давным -давно я не понимал , при чем тут вообще six ) -интернетов-то не было .

The phrase 'watch your six' means 'watch your back'. It refers to the 6 position on the face of a clock. If you were standing in the center of a clock face, facing the 12 position, the 6 position would be immediately behind you.

It's US military jargon; I'm not sure if it originated in the Navy or Air Force. The idea is to give relative directions by laying out the horizon as though it were a clock: directly ahead is 12 o'clock, straight right is 3 o'clock, straight left is 9 o'clock, and so directly behind you is 6 o'clock. Но потом резко понимаю, что здесь:
а) got - это никоим образом не инфинитив;
б) вместо do "по классике" должно быть have.

В общем, распространенная в AmE, хотя и non-standard с т.зрения грамматики, фраза.

Makes sense, and does not sound too terrible, at least in American English. Most people would not think twice about this sentence, although professionally, "What have we here"* sounds much better.

To sum up the answer, you can use "got" instead of "have," but it does not sound entirely right, and actually sounds a bit unintelligent. Nobody would correct you, and everybody would understand your sentence, by [but?] typically, "have" in this scenario sounds better and would be more widely accepted.

Тогда уж и to waive, a waiver. А то зачитать-то зачитали, и все понятно: не хочешь говорить - молчи, нужен защитник - вызовем. А вдруг задержанный и говорить хочет, и защитник ему без надобности? Предусмотрено и это:

"и понеслось" или "и пошло, и поехало":

Это не тот Брэдбери, который известен, как писатель-фантаст. Это - вторая книга из трилогии, написанной им в жанре детективно-мистического, нуарного детектива. Так что, никаких пришельцев. Речь идет о трупе на лестнице, приставленной к кладбищенской стене и возможных последствиях слухов вокруг этого.

LOL! Ну если такой всезнающий, может глянешь нечто посложнее этого и подскажешь, что там за аллюзии такие (подчеркнуто), откуда это может быть? Я буквально завис на этом отрывке и так и не смог обойтись без чистых (не подкрепленных ничем) догадок. Да, растолковывать самый общий смысл не обязательно, но если не влом, конечно интересно было бы узнать, что лично тебя в этом отрывке протормозило, если вообще что-то притормозило.
А контекст такой: Половина 50-х. Внутреннее кафе киностудии. Во время коллективного обеда актер, внешне подошедший на роль Иисуса Христа публично рассказывает новичку о своих злоключениях:
