One love! - I've been running a website on it for about 10 years.

I see. Probably I'm not so visually driven - a voice is mostly enough for me.

I've been teaching half of my classes without any makeup, with a nest on my head and in a home dress, so I'm probably as disorganised as some of the students, or even worse :) I loved this part of online teaching - you crawl out of bed, turn the PC on, and you're ready to rock :)
And I'm battling my control-freakishness, so it was a good time to practise that.

I immediately saw that 90mins online isn't the same as 90mins offline. So, I transferred everything the Ss could do on their own in LA, so half of the class they worked on their own there (reading/listening + questions, grammar/voc exercises, etc) + half of the class we only practised speaking (pairwork, groupwork, information gap, speaking games, board games, etc), trying to transfer what they've read, listened to, etc into active speaking.

Imma hope for the best, anyway :)
The problem is that many Ss would want reduced payment if DL continues (like in other DL courses), and the uni isn't ready to do it if we have 'regular' classes online - it's too expensive. And if it's real DL at linguistics like I've described before - only receptive/silent practice, no speaking - I'm not sure ppl will agree to continue studying/paying at the linguistics dpt.
