Do your mood depend on weather?

Yes, my mood depends on the weather. If it is sunny, I am in a mood of excitement. But If it is rainy, I am in a mood of sadness. However, I like rainy days and I become melancholic when it is. Sometimes I sit in a pleasant mood at a window and look at the rain and think over something good.

Does the weather affect my mood?

No, it doesn't. My mood is always affected by times of year. I hate Summer very much. Because it is very hot. You always have a risk to get the sunstroke. Moreover you cannot get out of burning sun anywhere! There is also always a malodorous smell from unneat peoples' armpit and their clothes. But on the other hand I like winter. Although it is very cold and freezing, I don't consider it as a problem. You may just dress yourself in warm clothes. Another time of year I prefer is Autumn. I like everything in it (Summer is over) except that on the first September you must start studying again.

Does your mood depend on the weather
The Weather does not affect my mood unless I need to go outside. If it’s hot like in Hell, or raining cats and dogs, I woun’t feel happy making my way to bus stop. But when I'm at home I think that bad weather make me feel even better.

Well, all of us speak - or try to speak - our own English (as well as our own Russian, surely) and all of us choose the model to follow. For me, Cambridge Dictionary is a good and reliable enough source of standard usage; and here is what they say:

https://dictionary.cambridge.org/gramma ... rbs/surely

The native speaker you consulted with, sees "probability" as the main meaning, whereas lexicographers from Cambridge put forward "certainty", which he even doesn't mention.
Then, he (or was it another guy who answered?) doesn't see the difference between "surely" and "definitely", considering them to be just British/American synonyms. The claim that "it is widely used" is great, but have you ever tried to check how widely the words like вообщем, чё, дОговор, договора... are spread? You may well say that at least the last two of my examples reflect the tendency that will inevitably win in a decade or two. Well, you are definitely right. But right now it's not yet, sorry (honestly, not sorry at all).
It is by no means that I am pushing you to change your mind or depriving you of your right to choose your preferences but - back to our sheep - don't you think that what he says on that very question is nothing more than his personal opinion, and it is questionable? So, why not take an advantage of using the best and most respected dictionaries instead? As long as they are still available? ) Just to make informative choice?

But, again, it is just the matter of choice/taste/trust/attitude - whatever you call it - which we surely?/definitely? don't share.
My apologies.

This refers to the particular day; days means other days. They do not have to agree in number.
Point taken.

Weather plays an important role in my life. I’m meteodependent. When the sun shines brightly I'm in a good mood. But when the weather is wet, the cold wind blows I feel negative and sad. My head hurts and I'm losing my pressure. The summer rain is an exception.A warm summer rain cheers me up and put me at ease.

Это касается shall/will, can/may, good/well, ну и sure/surely.

perhaps "weather sensitive" would be better? "Meteo-dependent" exists as well, but it's not used so widely.

Does weather affect your mood?

I’m a person who is impacted by changes in the weather. High atmospheric pressure, heatwave or heavy snow can have negative effects on my physical well-being and thus on my mood too. Rainy weather in autumn or gloomy long winter days often make me depressed. On the contrary, fine sunny weather can lift my spirits and brighten my day.

So, I can definitely say that weather impacts both my well-being and mood.

How does the weather affect on me? I think, I am in good spirits when it is warm and sunny. When the sun is shining, I want to go for a walk or to ride a bicycle. When it’s windy and cold I don’t want to go out. I want to be in the cozy room and to watch TV…I asked my daughter now about her mood and the weather. She replayed that she is in a bad mood in all types of weather if she has to go to school).

times of year - seasons
Summer, Autumn - summer, ...
hate ... very much - can't stand
I hate Summer very much. Because it is very hot - it is better to make ONE sentence out of two
have a risk to get the sunstroke - are always under risk of getting sunstroke/there is a high risk of getting...
There is also always ... - Do you really have to be so specific? Maybe "smell of sweating bodies" is enough.
I don't consider it as a problem - too formal, wouldn't it be better sth like "I don't mind if it is cold and even freezing..."
dress yourself in warm clothes - put on warm clothes/put warm clothes on
the first September - the 1st of September

по-английски, что ли, поэтому лучше бы "make me feel depressed"
Что понравилось: lift my spirits, brighten my day, gloomy winter days, heavy snow

Здесь можно (и лучше) не повторять "to": to go for a walk or to ride a bicycle; to be in the cozy room and to watch TV
I asked my daughter's opinion on the topic.

in all types of weather - whatever the weather/no matter of what the weather is

I composed a long and hopefully profound answer to this question in my head as I was on the train to Rome two days ago, but since I had no internet and couldn't post it, it is all forgotten now. My main point, though, as far as I can remember it, was that we must all be creatures of sunshine and warmth, since on sunlit days even the most irritable people look somehow more at peace with the world, and, viceversa, even the most cheerful ones can give in to the creeping gloom of those desolate November days when everything looks grey and abandoned and devoid of all hope. I'm at my best in April, when everything is white and green and lit by the gentle spring sunshine; and I become intollerably moody in autumn - some days, I can barely stand myself.

I didn't pay attention to how weather affected my mood only a few years ago. And now, I know exactly that the shining sun can put me in better spirits. It is especially noticeable after some dull days.

Does my mood depend on the weather or Does the weather affect my mood?

More likely no than yes. My mood depends more on mу inner world than on the weather outside. However when the sun is shining it’s always makes me a little bit happier. But when a day is cloudy it can fill me with calm but not sadness. Generally I just try to listen to what mood or precisely what energy of the nature is now and be in harmony with it. Overall there is no bad weather there are bad clothes, I think).

Does your mood depend on the weather?

The question whether my mood depends on the weather is an interesting one. I haven't ever try to evaluate whether it depends on not. I know that when the sun is shining it is really exiting and my mood can rise and I believe that I like sunny weather.

However, I also like when it is drizzling. At least I remember days in my youth when I liked walking under this gentle drops of drizzle. Usually it could be a dull and cloudy weather, nonetheless I like this thing a lot before. Now, when I am getting older I am afraid of wetting and getting sneeze or cold.

Now it is snowing outside and I like when it is snowing without winding. When snow falls down calmly and everything around is calm and steady it makes your mood calm and you get obtain that state of meditation when you can think calmly about your plans or life.

Therefore, I can say that the weather can affect my mood, but if I am anxious or nervous or angry, I don't remember that a nice weather can change my mood. In order to change my mood I have to forget about bad thoughts and start thinking positively and now I am not sure that any weather can change the directions of my thoughts or can make me forget bad thoughts. However, when the weather is bad, you can start to be angry at the bad weather and it can make everything different. If you are outside you have to struggle against the wind or shower and you will think of how to manage to get to some better place, where you can find a shelter and you will forget about your current problems as you have to switch to something else. In this case it is obvious that the weather helps you to change. It is difficult to say if your mind and mood can relax, but at least one evil can drive away another evil and it is good for a while, and there is a hope that you will calm down when the weather becomes better.

To conclude this train of thoughts I must say that the weather can change my mood, however, before writing this text I was sure that my mood didn't depend on weather.
