Грамматика боль
Модератор: zymbronia
Друзья! Хэлп.словарный запас ок, боязни говорить нет.... но ошибаюсь в элементарных вещах has/have, артикли, основные времена.
Вроде занималась грамматикой и с репетиторами, и сама. Но ведь грамматика это надо заучить?
Как вы учили? Что посоветуете? Больше упражнений?

Hey,
А вы можете неск примеров, где и как ошибаетесь в грамматике?
И что учить в грамматике вы хотите?
А в артиклях все ошибаются почти, это не считается))) так же как и про has не всегда вспоминается.

Когда-то путала с непривычки тоже, но предложения на перевод вполне помогли. Чаще всего такие ошибки появлялись в минуты волнения, потому что внимание рассеивалось и контроля за соблюдением грамматики было меньше.

Вот еще пример на "времена"
в одном контексте
в одном контексте
With equal suddenness the targets swing up again.
...The conscientious Mucklewame, slowly raising his foresight as he has been taught to do, from the base of the target to the centre, has just covered the beggar in the boat between wind and water, and is lingering lovingly over the second pull, when the inconsiderate beggar (and his boat) sink unostentatiously into the abyss, leaving the open-mouthed marksman with his finger on the trigger and an unfired cartridge in the chamber.

Hey,

English grammar in use, Мёрфи
Сначала говорится так, unit 1 continuous
То есть she drives to work, надо понимать не происходит в "момент говорения".She is driving to work
This means: she is driving now,at the moment of speaking
Однако далее, ниже даётся картинка
С подписью,Tom and Ann are talking in a cafe.
Хотя сцены как правило описывают "they talk", а не they are talking.
Что же из этого можно понять ?Tom says"I am reading an interesting book at the moment"
Tom is not reading the book at the moment of speaking.
This means that he started it but not finished it yet.
He is in the middle of speaking it

One of the functions of Present Continuous is to represent temporary actions. For example, I can say "I am studying French this year" and it doesn't mean I am doing it now. It means I assume this action(studying) to be finished one day. The same thing with Tom, i.e. he showed that he's not going to read the book for the rest of his life but plans to finish it someday soon.

Так, present simple используется тоже для временных акций, ещё более временныхlanguage_fan пишет: ↑20 ноя 2018, 00:01One of the functions of Present Continuous is to represent temporary actions. For example,
Один игрок passes другому, другой shoots и goal !
Что он делает, отлично понятно и без объяснений.I can say "I am studying French this year" and it doesn't mean I am doing it now. It means I assume this action(studying) to be finished one day. The same thing with Tom, i.e. he showed that he's not going to read the book for the rest of his life but plans to finish it someday soon.
Есть противоречивые (и ошибочные ) утверждения.
Сначала говорится, что now, значит действие в данный момент,а что если действие регулярное и имеет паузы, то якобы в эти паузы его нет.
Но Now может относится и к таким. Now я хожу каждый день купаться в море.
Сама "пауза" понятие неточное.
"Я читаю " это когда я смотрю в книгу? А если я в кафе книжном, и одновременно пьют кофе? И в момент когда я кофе отхлебываю, то не читаю ?
Очевидно ни to read ни to be reading такие ньюансы не рассматривают и никак не регулируют.

Sport commentaries is a special case in which both Pr.Simple and Continuous can be used with one difference: simple - for rapid actions completed in the moment of speaking and continuous- for a bit longer ones.
Still Pr.Simple describes more general situations while continuous- things in particular cases.
I swim in the sea every day.(I live by the coast)
I am swimming in the sea every day. (I'm on a vacation and will go home one day)

Зачем же путать жанр и грамматику ?language_fan пишет: ↑20 ноя 2018, 00:45 Sport commentaries is a special case in which both Pr.Simple and Continuous can be used with one difference: simple - for rapid actions completed in the moment of speaking and continuous- for a bit longer ones.
Он stands а музыканты are fingering
Игрок is scoring забивал и забивал гол
Но так же и для конкретного удара.
На самом деле, зависит от целей
Вот рассказ Делафильда Home Life relayed

Корреспондент описывает и передаёт по радио поминутную жизнь семьи
И все описывается present continuous и present perfect
То есть комментаторы спорта используют в основном present simple по стилистическим соображениям
А вот радио журналисту требовалось описывать более близко к реальности и более интересно, а не так фабульно.
Но более общие ситуации они ведь не обязательно в течении лет происходят но и дней и часов.Still Pr.Simple describes more general situations while continuous- things in particular cases.
continuous используется ни только относительно процесса имеющего границы, но и такие какI swim in the sea every day.(I live by the coast)
I am swimming in the sea every day. (I'm on a vacation and will go home one day)
Растут цены, люди стали пить больше кофе, я хожу на новую работу ( открытая дата ).
Право же, я хожу в начальную школу (simple) процесс более явно ограничен во времени, чем я хожу на новую работу (continuous ).

Вот хороший пример у Честертона
Одно и тоже действие сначала present continuous, потом в present simple
"Day after day you are sending out young boys like this. Young boys who haven't begun to live. Young boys who don't know what life is. Day after day you send them out and they don't come back and you don't care!"
Their parties grow later and later at night, for they are trying to live to-morrow. (G. K. Chesterton)

It may be a very subtle difference. You can use present continuous to talk about some facts/habits which you imagine visually and present simple for claiming the facts.

Next door now. They always get it next door. Flick rat-tat! What a crasher! You can feel it echo! Now thenl How it gleams! He's stopped. He's looking at his letters! He's coming in! He is! — ah, he's passed; he's gone; it's over; nothing... - nothing for here...
He sits down, pushes his plate away...
И в конце в значении momentary he sitS down, pushES
Но между ними -present continuous и present perfect
Нет. Повелительное наклонение это : Вы делаЙте так, а не ,Вы делаЕте так.Here it's just the imperative mood
Вы идёте 100 метров прямо, потом сворачиваете направо.
А императив : идите, сверните.
Хотя в английском для you императив тоже go ( но смысл не тот же самый ) но you не нужно
Go ! Vs you go.
Кроме того, инструкции это лишь частный случай это может быть любая фантазия, предположение, вариант событий и может быть в любых лицах.she/he comes in. He/she enters the room. She/he sits on the bed.
Замечательно. Но это "другое свойство", особенно случай устройства на новую работу, противоречит ( а не дополняет ) вашей идее о "continuous это временные процессы, ограниченные промежутком ".And this is another feature of continuous- showing changing situations

Прекрасно. Но в этой "тонкой" разнице вся суть вопроса, а все иное, что вы пытаетесь навязать выше -акциденции, а не суть, то есть внешние, вспомогательные вещи.language_fan пишет: ↑20 ноя 2018, 01:42 It may be a very subtle difference. Да, объявление фактов с помощью simple-это конечно хорошо. Но.
Любой скажет, что и continuous тоже факт.
Значит simple это просто факт, а continuous тоже конечно факт, но плюс это к этому ещё...
ЧТО?
И вот с помощью simple описывают факты
