Я листал брошурку:

и там упоминается о филлерах https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filler_(linguistics) , которые ингода еще разывают hesitation words.
В английском это вроде uh /ʌ/, er /ɜː/, um /ʌm/, mm /m/ (IPA из словаря).
Интересно где что частотнее употребляется - Брит/Амер. ER непривычно произносить.
UH + UM есть и у нас. Не нужно ж переучиваться? Просто язык сохраняет уклад и должно выходить естественно?
+ Я приучился говорить "em,... you know, ..." когда застрял и подбираю слово.
Есть ли еще какие фразы-филлеры?
