What do you think of presents made with your own hands?
I think that to receive a present made by your friend or somebody who you like it is a greatest pleasure. Of course it won’t substitute for one million dollars, but it is better than a present bought in a cheap shop or a small amount of money.
When a person does something with their hands it means that this person loves what they do and they would like to please a person who they are going to present with this small handmade thing. I think everybody who could get such a present must be really grateful.
I am not sure if I have even tried to make some presents except some pictures by myself. I usually considered my handmade things as very poorly done and I wouldn’t want to give them to anybody. I don’t also remember if I received such things, however, I believe that it was possible that somebody of my nephews or nieces could have done that. Therefore it is even more difficult for me to describe those feelings that those things could have arisen, however, I am sure that those feelings are very nice and satisfying.
In conclusion I would like to wish you to make such presents and to receive similar things as many as you wish.
Usually, I like them because a handmade gift is a special and unique thing. Making presents takes time and skills so I appreciate them. I haven’t received many gifts of this type, from my family members or close friends only. I sometimes present handmade gifts to relatives and close friends who really like them as well, but never just to someone I know, because many people don’t like such kind of things, and they prefer to have a present from a shop.
What do you think about self-made gifts?
I raise with great respect for people who can make something with their hands. That is like a miracle for me because I do nothing on my own. Though I was studied in school like the most of children to do some stuff for my parents on my own I have not learned to do some great things. All my art projects were ugly. They were appropriated only for my parents.
But I have acquaintances who can do wonderful self-made gifts. I know a woman who makes beautiful stained glasses and a guy who paint so well that his pictures are the best gift. They are talented people and I admire them.
As a bottom line, I would like to say that if somebody can do something on with his own hands it is great. And a self-made gift is the best gift in the most cases.
What do you think of handmade gifts?
If handmade gifts are useful, I love them. Actually, my mother's best at embroidery and quite good at sewing. That is why we have a lot of handmade things at home. For example, a case for an eBook and a little pillow for travelling. Next, my sister got several amazing bags just for free. She's been using them for many years. Talking about handmade postcards or little additions to main gifts, I like them too, because they create a wonderful atmosphere. However, I don't like useless handmade gifts or souvenirs, because they can be used only for collecting dust and taking up space.
I think they're nice and touching. If you do it as a token for somebody to show them your appreciation, that's totaly fine. However when these presents are made purposely for sale, I don't value such thing very high. To me any handmade thing is more about your attitude and feelings rather than a business.
What do you think of presents that are made on your own?
I think there is nothing wrong in it. As you know, schoolboys make the present in Handicraft lessons. Of course, generally, presence are made untidy, but it doesn't make them less worthy. Even if you are not good at painting, there is no point in being shy or confused. Moreover making things with your hands improve your skills in other things. For example, if you write a poem, you improve your writing and oral skills in languages.
As for me, I've never gifted presents made on my own since I was a schoolboy. Perhaps, a few people deserve to get presents like that. And as you know most people want to get money rather than to get a presence, even if it is made with friends' own hands.

I think there is nothing wrong in it with/about them. As you know,/We all remember schoolboys/(sounds a bit sexist, doesn't it?): schoolchildren makeingthe presentS in their Handicraft classes/at their Handicraft/Crafts lessons. Of course, generally/quite often, these presencets are made untidILy/are far from perfect, but it/that doesn't make them less worthy. Even if you are not good at painting {why painting all of a sudden?}, there is no point in being shy or confused. Moreover, <comma> making things with your own (two) hands improveS your skills in other things/fields as well. For example, if you write a poem, you improve your writing and oral skills in languages. As for me,Personally, I've never giftedmade presents/presented gifts//made/gave gifts I made on my own/made with my own hands/myself since I was a schoolboy. Perhaps, I just can't find a fewthe right people who deserve/someone who deserves to get presents like that/these - just a few (people) do. And as you know, <comma> most people want to get money rather than to get a presenTce, even if it is/were made with their friends' own hands/...would rather get some money than a present....

What do you think of handmade presents?
I appreciate when handmade presents are given to me. Although, to be honest, sometimes I don't know what to do with them.
That's why I feel shy and uncomfortable to give my own handmade objects as gifts. I almost never do it.
